The default Regular mode delivers clean, natural, and balanced sound; the Rich mode enhances low frequencies for a fuller, more powerful audio; while the Bright mode boosts high frequencies, making every spoken word clearer and more vivid.

Detailed sound

The DJI Mic Mini supports omnidirectional wireless audio recording. Thanks to the rotatable clip, the microphone can be precisely oriented toward the sound source, enabling high-fidelity 48 kHz / 24-bit recordings.

Automatic limiting to prevent clipping ^[6]

When automatic limiting is enabled, the DJI Mic Mini 2 automatically reduces the volume when the audio input is too high, preventing clipping and ensuring excellent sound quality. This is especially useful for content creators.

Safety track for added protection

By enabling the safety track in the DJI Mimo app, the DJI Mic Mini 2 can record in dual-track mode. The main track is recorded at normal volume, while the second track is recorded at –6 dB, helping to prevent issues such as clipping and distortion, especially during live events.

Five-level gain adjustment

The gain can be quickly adjusted in five levels using the dial on the receiver, making operation convenient and efficient. Proper gain adjustment can significantly improve audio clarity.

Multi-generation compatibility ^[3]
In green-light mode, the mobile receiver can pair with any two DJI Mic Mini or Mic Mini 2 transmitters. In blue-light mode, the mobile receiver can pair with any two DJI Mic Mini, Mic Mini 2, Mic 2, or Mic 3 transmitters.

In the DJI Mic Mini 2 (2 TX + 1 RX) configuration, when used with the DJI Mic Mini receiver, the transmission distance can reach up to 400 meters ^[12]. Even when paired with a mobile receiver, you can enjoy stable transmission up to 300 meters ^[12].

48-hour ^[8] battery life and power-saving mode

The transmitter and receiver provide operating times of 11.5 and 10.5 hours respectively ^[13]. The fully charged charging case can extend total usage time up to 48 hours ^[8]. Enjoy uninterrupted creation and continuous inspiration, whether recording long interviews or live streaming.

Efficient power management, worry-free operation

Fast charging ^[14]
The Mic Mini receiver and Mic Mini 2 transmitter can be used for approximately 1 hour after just 5 minutes of charging.
Automatic power-saving mode ^[15]
The transmitter automatically enters sleep mode when no signal is detected from the receiver. Once a signal is detected again, it wakes up and reconnects to the receiver.
Automatic shutdown
You can set the transmitter and receiver to automatically power off after a period of inactivity in the DJI Mimo app. Both devices will shut down automatically if they remain disconnected for more than 15 minutes.
Automatic power on/off with camera ^[16]
After enabling this function in the DJI Mimo app, the receiver connected to the camera can automatically power on and off together with the camera.
Use while charging ^[17]
When the receiver is connected to your phone, it draws power directly from the phone. When connected to an external power source, both devices can be charged simultaneously.

1. Sold separately. The Obsidian Black and Glaze White magnetic front covers are standard accessories included in the DJI Mic Mini 2 (2 TX + 1 RX) package, so users do not need to purchase them separately.
2. In the charging case, the transmitters can be stored with the windscreen and magnetic front cover attached, as well as with the magnet or magnetic clip installed. The inner lid of the charging case provides storage space for the magnet, magnetic clip, or audio adapter cable. When storing the DJI Mic Series mobile receiver, the left side of the inner lid can hold a magnet or magnetic clip, while the right side is reserved for a magnet only. To avoid product damage, do not place various objects on the charging case.
3. The DJI Mic Mini receiver supports mixed connections with DJI Mic Mini and DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitters, allowing up to two transmitters to be connected simultaneously. The DJI Mic Series mobile receiver supports mixed connections with DJI Mic 2, DJI Mic 3, DJI Mic Mini, or DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitters, also supporting up to two transmitters simultaneously.
4. Preset sound profiles can be selected in the DJI Mimo app, with Regular (default) as the standard setting. This feature is not supported when the transmitter is connected directly to a phone via Bluetooth.

Strong and Basic noise reduction levels can be adjusted via the DJI Mimo app or directly on the device interface when using Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, or Osmo Action 6 connected via DJI OsmoAudio. Both transmitters were connected to the receiver, which was connected to a camera via a 3.5 mm TRS audio cable.

16. When the receiver is connected to a camera via the DJI Mic Series camera adapter and the camera is not in recording mode or is switched to playback mode, the receiver will automatically power off and will not power on with the camera. This depends on camera specifications and may vary by model.
17. If your phone uses a Lightning connector, the receiver cannot be powered directly by the phone battery. For simultaneous charging and use, a separate DJI Mic Series mobile receiver adapter (USB-C to Lightning) is required.
