Automatic axis lock for easy storage
The gimbal automatically locks itself for storage when powered off. Manual locking is also available for faster and more secure packing.

What is the difference, between the Pocket 4 and the Pocket 3?
Based on the specs, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is a noticeable upgrade over the Pocket 3, especially for video.
The biggest difference is slow motion. Pocket 4 can shoot 4K/240 fps, which gives much smoother slow-motion footage, while Pocket 3 goes up to 4K/120 fps.
Image quality is also improved. Pocket 4 offers higher dynamic range, meaning better detail in both bright and dark areas.
It also gives more flexibility in color editing thanks to D-Log, while Pocket 3 is more geared toward quick, ready-to-use results.
Zoom and tracking feel more natural on Pocket 4, with smoother zoom during subject tracking.
A practical difference is storage: Pocket 4 has built-in memory and faster data transfer, while Pocket 3 relies on external storage.

- 4K/240 fps video recording is supported exclusively in Slow Motion mode.
- The maximum dynamic range is 14 stops in both Normal and D-Log color profiles. In Slow Motion mode, the actual dynamic range may be lower than 14 stops.
- The 10-bit D-Log color profile is supported only in standard video mode.
- 2× lossless zoom is not supported in low-light conditions, Slow Motion, or Timelapse modes.
- Data was tested in a controlled laboratory environment. Using the included USB-C to USB-C PD cable (USB 3.1) or another USB 3.1-compatible cable, data can be exported from the built-in storage at speeds of up to 800 MB/s.
- ActiveTrack is not supported in Panorama, Timelapse, Motionlapse, or SpinShot modes, nor when the gimbal is in FPV mode and the device is held horizontally. For optimal tracking performance, use in well-lit environments. ActiveTrack updates are available via the DJI Mimo app. For further details, please contact DJI customer support.
- Four-channel output requires connection to a DJI microphone transmitter. Direct connection to first-generation DJI microphones is not supported. DJI microphones are sold separately.
- Subject Lock Tracking and Registered Subject Priority are supported in Video, Photo Pro, and Hyperlapse modes. They are not available in Panorama, Timelapse, or Motionlapse modes.
- Gesture control operates within a range of 0.5–5 m at 1× zoom and 1–7 m at 2× zoom. Use appropriate gestures (palm or “V” sign) for ActiveTrack and recording control, and avoid covering your face with your hand. Actual range may vary depending on future firmware updates.
- Film tones and in-camera beautification are available only in Video mode and cannot be used simultaneously. When Film Tone is enabled, in-camera beautification settings are unavailable. If in-camera beautification is already enabled, switching to Film Tone mode will disable the beautification effect.
- App-based beauty effects are available only in Video and low-light modes, and are not supported in Photo or other modes.
- Enable app-based beauty effects for the Osmo Pocket 4 before recording. After recording, export the footage via the DJI Mimo app to apply the effects.
- Available separately or as part of a bundled kit.
- Four-channel audio editing requires the DJI Mimo app or other professional video editing software.
- Tested in a controlled laboratory environment using a DJI 65 W portable charger (sold separately).

- 4K/120 fps video recording is supported exclusively in Slow Motion mode.
- The Osmo Pocket 3 does not support 2× lossless zoom in low-light conditions, Slow Motion, Timelapse, ActiveTrack, D-Log, or Photo modes. Zoom ratios cannot be adjusted during recording.
