- From November 2025, the DJI Neo 2 will be the most compact drone in the DJI product range with omnidirectional obstacle avoidance.
- The omnidirectional vision system only assists flight safety under certain conditions and does not replace your own judgment and control. During flight, always pay attention to your immediate surroundings and the warning signals from the DJI Fly app, and always maintain responsible control over the drone. The visual positioning system has a best positioning range between 0.5 and 10 m when using the system without GNSS signals available. The performance of the visual positioning system may be reduced when flying outside this range. Fly with caution. The vision system may not function properly when flying over water, which may prevent it from actively avoiding the water surface below during landing. Operators must maintain control of the drone at all times, make operational decisions based on their assessment of the environment, and avoid relying solely on the vision system. The vision system is unable to detect certain objects or surfaces, including larger structures with frames and cables (e.g., tower cranes, high-voltage transmission towers, high-voltage transmission lines, cable-stayed bridges); surfaces with no texture or sparse texture; surfaces with repetitive, identical patterns or textures (e.g., small tiles of the same color); surfaces with a single color (e.g., completely black, white, red, or green); highly reflective or mirror-like surfaces (e.g., ice, traffic signs); water surfaces or transparent surfaces; surfaces of moving objects (e.g., moving crowds or swaying bushes or grass); moving obstacles (e.g., people walking, moving vehicles); scenes with high brightness contrast; extremely dark surfaces (e.g., less than 1 lux) or extremely bright surfaces (e.g., more than 100,000 lux); materials with strong infrared absorption or reflection properties (e.g., mirrors, glass, traffic signs, asphalt); small obstacles (e.g., fences, branches, wires); and thin poles or small, vertical objects (e.g., utility poles, street lamps). Under no circumstances should you place obstacles or interfere with the sensor system. Ensure that all lenses are clean and free of dirt, smudges, other contaminants, and scratches. The vision system cameras may need to be calibrated after prolonged storage. A prompt will appear in the DJI Fly app, and calibration will proceed automatically. Do not fly in rainy or smoggy conditions, or when visibility is less than 100 m. Check the glass surfaces of the sensor system before takeoff. Remove any protective film, stickers, or other obstructions. If there are water droplets, fingerprints, or smudges on the glass, clean it with a lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or organic solvents. If the glass surface is loose, broken, scratched, or worn, send the drone to an authorized service center for repair. For more details, refer to the product user manual.
- Follow these conditions and precautions when using gesture control: When using this feature, make sure the environment is safe and avoid moving people, animals, or vehicles. Do not use the gesture control function in areas with small or thin objects (e.g., branches or electrical wires), transparent objects (e.g., glass or water), or single-color surfaces (e.g., white walls). Use this function only in areas with adequate lighting. Gesture control does not work when the ambient light is below 5 lux or above 100,000 lux. Gesture control is only supported in Spotlight and Follow modes; it is not supported when using the remote control or motion controller. When using this feature, keep the drone approximately 2–5 m away from the operator. When using this feature, keep your fingers fully extended. Hand gesture control does not work when wearing thick or single-finger gloves, and the person must be fully visible in the camera image without any obstructions. When using the Return to Hand function, maintain a horizontal distance of 2–5 m between the drone and your palm, and a vertical distance of no more than 2 m. If the function does not work properly at close range, adjust the drone's position using hand gesture control or move closer to avoid visual blind spots, then try again. If you want to recall the drone by raising an arm, keep the drone within a horizontal distance of 10 m from your arm, make sure your arm is fully extended, and do not raise both arms at the same time, as this will prevent the drone from returning. When using the Return to Palm function, keep a horizontal distance of 2-5 m between the drone and your palm, and a vertical distance of no more than 2 m.
- It is recommended to use the ActiveTrack feature in open environments. For unsupported scenarios or scenarios that may interrupt recording, refer to the user manual. When using Auto mode in complex environments with many obstacles, exercise caution for flight and personal safety.
- When taking off and landing from your palm, follow these guidelines: operate in a windless environment if possible; extend your palm horizontally and keep it still, and avoid contact between your fingers and the propellers to prevent injury; do not attempt to catch the drone while it is flying.
- Versatile flight refers to the DJI Neo 2's ability to fly both indoors and outdoors, with significantly improved performance compared to the DJI Neo, especially in conditions such as flying over water or snow. Always comply with local laws and regulations, certification requirements, and airspace permissions, and ensure you understand and have obtained all necessary permissions before operating your drone. Flight performance may be reduced when flying the drone near surfaces that are monochromatic, transparent, or have little texture, or in weak GNSS signal conditions. Always fly with caution in well-lit environments. When flying over water, maintain a minimum altitude of 1 m for safety. For more details, please refer to the product user manual.
- The maximum resolution of vertical shooting mode is 2.7K.
- DJI Goggles N3 or DJI Goggles 3, as well as DJI RC Motion 3 or DJI FPV Remote Controller 3, are required. When using DJI Neo 2, always comply with local laws and regulations and ensure safe flight.
- Only English and Mandarin are supported.
- Requires connection to a mobile phone via Wi-Fi.
- For mobile device compatibility, see the DJI Fly app download page; for Bluetooth compatibility, see the Bluetooth device compatibility list.
- DJI Neo 2 digital transmitter/receiver is required, along with the appropriate remote controller and goggles. These can be obtained by purchasing specific bundles or purchasing the products separately.
- The 10 km video transmission distance is only achievable with FCC compliance. Measured in an unobstructed, interference-free outdoor environment, using the remote controller or goggles; represents the maximum communication range for one-way, non-return flights under specific standards. In actual flight scenarios, the maximum video transmission distance is limited by the actual flight altitude of the drone. Always monitor RTH reminders in live view during flight.
- Maximum speed measured in an open, windless environment, with the drone taking off from 0 m above sea level and controlled by remote control. The data is for reference only.
- 4K/100 fps slow motion video recording is only supported when using the remote control or motion controller.
- The stabilization switch (On/Off) is only available when paired with the glasses. When stabilization is turned off, recorded footage supports offline stabilization using Gyroflow.
- The number of batteries that can be charged at one time depends on the power of the charger used. When using a charger with a power rating of 45 W or higher, three batteries can be charged at one time. When using a charger with a power rating between 30 W and 45 W, only two batteries can be charged at a time. When using a charger with a power rating lower than 30 W, the batteries are charged one after the other, from the highest charge level to the lowest. See the charging protocols supported by the charger.
- Measured in a laboratory environment with few interference factors, in countries/regions that support 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequencies. Download speeds may vary depending on actual conditions.
