Ideal for high-end broadcast, TV studio, and live event use, the compact CR-N700 supports up to UHD 4K60p 4:2:2 10-bit HDR video. The CR-N700 shares several features with high-resolution, cine-style Canon cameras like a 1" type CMOS sensor, a Canon Digic DV7 image processor, Dual Pixel CMOS AF with EOS iTR AF X (autofocus), and a 15x optical/20x digital zoom with a 30x Advanced Zoom in HD.
Auto Tracking Lite
The included Auto Tracking Lite feature provides basic tracking with a fixed center target position, smooth, precise movements, one saved setting, and two tracking subject display sizes. Upgrade to the separately available, paid Auto Tracking application for more advanced tracking functions including multi-subject tracking, 10 sensitivity levels, and more.

The CR-N700 features a Canon 1" 4K CMOS image sensor that supports up to 4K60p 4:2:2 10-bit HDR imagery for SDI and HDMI broadcasting plus 4K60p output via IP.

Incorporates Canon's Digic DV7 Image Processor for high image quality, advanced performance, and convenient operability. This advanced technology provides the image-processing power and speed that enables features such as 4K UHD video acquisition and precise Hybrid AF.
Multiple Focus Modes Including EOS iTR AF X
Canon's Dual-Pixel CMOS autofocus features include EOS iTR AF X (Intelligent Tracking and Recognition Auto Focus) which helps the camera focus on faces, even when a subject turns to look away from the camera. Eye Detection AF detects and tracks your subject's pupil for precision focusing. Face Priority AF emphasizes a person's face while Face Only AF responds just when a face is detected. Use the Touch AF function to quickly select your preferred focus point using the remote control app.
Advanced Zoom Lens
The CR-N700 features a 15x optical/20x digital zoom with a 30x Advanced Zoom in HD that lets you get tight telephoto shots when getting closer physically isn't desired or possible.
Crop Function for Two Outputs
- The crop function lets you select a close-up view from within your full image, letting you output two 1080p view simultaneously.
- Use this function to create a two-camera look using a single CR-N700 camera.
Night Mode
The IR Mode uses infrared technology to extend the spectrum visible to the CR-N700 camera, letting you capture images in near darkness.
Multiple Protocol Support
Supported IP and control protocols include NDI HX, SRT, FreeD, RTMP/RTMPS, RTP/RTSP, Canon XC, and Standard Communication options.
