The EOS R7 features deep learning AI and iTR AF technology, which you'll find in our EOS R3, EOS R5, and EOS R6 cameras. This means it can recognize people, animals, and vehicles and keep them in sharp focus, no matter where they move within the frame.

The EOS R7's built-in image stabilizer (IBIS) opens up a world of new creative possibilities and may even make you rethink how you use your camera system.
It's okay if you move, the image stays stable
The camera's built-in image stabilization system (IBIS) works in conjunction with the optical image stabilizer built into many RF lenses. The RF lens mount's lightning-fast communication speed and physical width, up to 7 stops with the RF-S 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM lens and up to 8 stops with other RF lenses that enable stabilization over 5 axes, means that even long exposures can be shot steadily from the hand without camera shake.
And when shooting with lenses without image stabilization (such as fast prime lenses), the EOS R system's wide lens mount ensures that the EOS R7's IBIS image stabilization provides extremely effective stabilization against camera shake.

Impressive speed and performance
The perfect moment may only last a fraction of a second, which is why we designed the EOS R7 to be exceptionally fast. Capture RAW, JPEG, and HEIF files at an impressive 15 fps—or up to 30 fps using the camera's silent electronic shutter—with continuous AF and AE that responds continuously during shooting. The maximum electronic shutter speed of 1/16,000 sec reveals details that are often invisible to the naked eye.
Designed for quick response
The camera's DIGIC X processor ensures fast, responsive handling and virtually eliminates viewfinder lag, providing a truly dynamic shooting experience. Up to 42 RAW and 126 JPEG files can be captured in a single 30 fps burst.
Continuous motion, perfectly captured on video
When shooting video, the frame rate can be up to 60p in 4K and up to 120p in Full HD. It captures moving subjects with incredible precision and can create extremely smooth slow-motion footage during post-production.
