Camera design
The hybrid instant camera combines convenient digital image capture with traditional instant film output. This allows you to freely shoot and print whenever you want, or reprint an image as many times as you like. The INSTAX MINI accepts instant film, allowing you to take 6 x 4.5 cm images on a credit card-sized 8.6 x 5.3 cm sheet. The fixed 28mm equivalent lens offers a versatile wide-angle perspective, and the f/2 aperture is great for working in a variety of lighting conditions. The lens also features a 10 cm minimum focal length for working with close-up subjects. The rear 2.7" 230k pixel LCD monitor can be used for composing images, as well as viewing photos and navigating the print menu. The compact design is easy to use and the body incorporates a large shutter release button on the front of the camera. The built-in flash provides additional illumination for work in low light conditions. This light is also used to indicate the self-timer countdown. A built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the camera and supports printing approximately 100 images on a single charge. It takes approximately 2-3 hours to recharge via USB.
