Quick-open parabolic softbox for Bowens S mount lights

The SmallRig RA-D85 Parabolic Softbox is an 85 cm parabolic light modifier designed for both photo and video production. It creates soft, even and controllable light, making it suitable for portraits, interviews, product shots, beauty lighting, key light setups and fill light applications.

The softbox uses a Bowens S mount, making it compatible with many popular COB LED lights. Its quick-open design allows fast setup and breakdown, which is useful both in studio and on location. The kit includes an internal diffuser, external diffuser, honeycomb grid and carry bag.

Softer, more controlled light from one source

The parabolic shape and silver reflective interior help improve light efficiency while producing a softer beam. The internal and external diffusers can be used separately or together, allowing the light quality to be adjusted to the scene.

The included honeycomb grid narrows the beam to approximately 45°, helping reduce spill and improve directionality. This is useful for portraits, interviews and product setups where more precise lighting control is needed.
