Details

The PolarPro McKinnon 135 Series Black Mist Filter softens details and reduces contrast for a cinematic, film-like aesthetic. By subtly blooming highlights while preserving clarity, it enhances portraits by smoothing skin tones and reducing digital sharpness. Inspired by classic film stocks, it adds depth to both photos and videos. Made with high-quality German Chroma glass, it ensures optical precision while introducing a gentle haze. The durable, weather-sealed aluminum frame protects it from the elements, and its vintage film reel-inspired canister blends nostalgia with modern design. A built-in Sunny 16 Rule cheat sheet offers quick exposure guidance. With 90% light transmission and 1/4 diffusion strength, it maintains color accuracy without unwanted casts and helps photographers and filmmakers achieve a softer, more organic look in various shooting conditions.
