Hoya 105mm Fusion Antistatic UV Filter

Premium UV filter for large-diameter lenses

The HOYA Fusion Antistatic UV 105 mm is a premium UV filter for lenses with a large front filter thread. It helps filter unwanted ultraviolet light while also protecting the front lens element from dust, fingerprints, moisture and minor surface contamination.

The 105 mm size is mainly suited to larger professional lenses, telephoto lenses and specialised optics. Before use, the exact filter thread size of the lens should always be checked.

Antistatic coating for reduced dust buildup

One of the main advantages of the Fusion Antistatic series is its antistatic coating, which helps reduce dust adhesion on the filter surface. This is useful for outdoor photography, travel, events, nature photography and shooting in dusty environments.

The water- and oil-repellent surface also makes cleaning easier. Water droplets, fingerprints and small marks can be removed more easily, helping the filter stay cleaner with less maintenance.

Clear image quality with reduced reflections

The 18-layer Super Multi-Coating applied to both sides of the glass is designed to reduce reflections while maintaining high light transmission. This allows the filter to protect the lens while keeping colour balance, contrast and sharpness largely unaffected.

Professional-grade optical glass and a low-profile aluminium frame make the filter suitable for higher-end photographic setups. The slimmer frame can also be useful on wide-angle lenses, where reducing the risk of filter-induced vignetting is important.
