The RØDE NTG3 Micro Shotgun Microphone Kit is a professional shotgun microphone package designed for location recording. It offers a cost-effective solution for users who require a complete on-location microphone setup, including a boom pole, shotgun microphone, wind protection, shock-mounted suspension, and a shoulder-carried Boompole bag for convenient transport.

The RØDE NTG3 is the flagship model in the manufacturer’s shotgun microphone lineup. Thanks to many years of development by RØDE’s engineering team and professional manufacturing standards, the NTG3 has become a premium-class tool suitable for broadcast, film, and theatrical applications. Its rich, full, and highly detailed sound places it among the leading microphones in its category. The capsule employs a special RF-bias technology that makes the microphone highly resistant to moisture caused by condensation, allowing reliable use even in environments with high humidity and significant temperature fluctuations.

The RØDE Micro Boompole is a compact, lightweight telescopic boom pole with a standard 3/8" thread at the end. This allows the attachment of any standard shock mount or even microphones with a 3/8" threaded socket (such as the VideoMicro, VideoMic GO, VideoMic Rycote, VideoMic Pro, VideoMic Pro+, Stereo VideoMic, or Stereo VideoMic Pro) directly to the pole. Its length is 844 mm when collapsed and 2050 mm when fully extended.

The RØDE SM4R is a shock mount featuring the Rycote-patented Lyre suspension system. It can be mounted on any microphone stand or boom pole with a standard 3/8" or 5/8" thread and effectively isolates the microphone from handling noise and vibrations.

The RØDE WS7 is a deluxe windscreen with integrated foam and fur that effectively protects the shotgun microphone from wind noise even in extreme weather conditions.
